Artisanal food & drink in the spotlight as Speciality & Fine Food Fair prepares to return

Excitement is building at Montgomery Group HQ as we prepare for the return of Speciality & Fine Food Fair on 5-6 September. The Fair was one of the first events out the gate when capacity restrictions ended in Autumn 2021 and we hosted a fantastic reunion for a food & drink sector that had been transformed by lockdown and the explosion of online retail.

This year will see the Fair back to its full strength and free from restrictions, with a load of fantastic new features and the who's who of the speciality food & drink sector taking to the stage to share their insights and debate some of the most important industry trends.

Alongside innovative food & drink producers from around the UK, the Fair is once again welcoming a wide range of international fine food brands to meet with British buyers and importers.

Andrew Hashey, Founder of Antillia Brewing Co.?in St Lucia, told us: “We are extremely excited to exhibit our tropically inspired Caribbean ales at Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2022. It is a great way to reboot our exports to the UK after two long years of pandemic disruption. We look forward to meeting new distributors, importers and retailers and sharing a taste of St Lucia with them.”

Alongside the fantastic food products at the Fair, the Drinks Cabinet section is jam-packed with soft drinks, hot drinks, alcoholic drinks and some of the tastiest low and no products on the market.

One example is Everleaf Non-Alcoholic Aperitifs. Launched in 2019, Everleaf makes complex non-alcoholic aperitifs with depth, aroma, flavour and body which rival some of the greatest alcoholic brands on the market. One of the bestselling non-alcoholic brands in the UK, the Everleaf range includes three products anchored to different parts of the natural world: Forest, Mountain and Marine, designed to be mixed with light-tonic water, ice and a freshly sliced garnish to create a delicious spritz.

The variety and quality of products at the Fair can clearly be seen in the volume of Great Taste Award winners at the event. In addition to the Guild of Fine Food's Great Taste Deli, which showcases some of the most exciting and highly awarded products, the show has numerous businesses taking part with the coveted stars on their packaging.
