Artificial Intelligence- Some Relation with Intelligence

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is a combination of technology of information and knowledge to build capability in machines to imitate human behavior. It is a transformative technology that has transformed today’s world. Till now, we have created some robots that are operated by human being for doing repetitive task. This technology is already present in many sectors of economy for military task, medical transcription, ammunition, smart vehicles, hand written recognition for mail delivery, pizza delivery, booking cab, asking any query online, sea vehicle, fueling at petrol pumps, self-driven cars, play station games, food served by robots in restaurants, cooked by robots, and many others. Looking at its indispensable use and growing needs, Indian commerce and industry has recently constituted a task force on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Indian Economic Transformation.

The development in defence technology and geopolitical environment necessitates increased defence spending year by year due to requirement of weapons and arms. To run the arms and ammunition in a proper manner are providing for cost effective alternative. AI can provide multiple option for military applications for a strategic, operational and tactical level planning in many of the functions like flying across obstacles, para dropping, Training, Combat Role, Entering hazardous zones, mining/demining of the ammunition, smart surveillance and commands.

Similarly, till now private sectors have been focused primarily in making robots for consumer goods markets only. Making robots and machines for the defense can also be beneficial for growth in Indian economy. By making powerful robots and machines, India can be a powerful country in every domain. There are many foreign companies who are developing these technology for their benefits.

Adopting latest technology can offer huge benefit in combat and defense. Artificial Intelligence technology helping equipment to work smart through experiences. On the flip side, technology can be serious threat many times as machines are not smart enough to differentiate between good or bad. They will cut the manpower and the way they work, making us sluggish and dependent on them. Additionally they cannot fight the situation that is new and has no experience. If Artificial Intelligence is to combat the present situation and provide country with the latest innovation, it could be a weapon of despots that can harm many innocent populations if hacked in undesirable ways. It can also allow armed conflict to be fought at a scale greater than ever, and at times scales faster than human can comprehend.

Artificial Intelligence is comprehensive in nature when it talks about exploiting the technology to benefit human race. It address to the issue of private data for users and responsibility is to be followed when designing Artificial based applications. This vision must also consider the negative implications of Artificial Intelligence. Not only government but the society must also be aware of it. Machines were never so intelligent ever since the interception but human mind has made so. Entering in the field of AI is a remarkable step as stepping on the moon. It is either the best or the worst thing ever happened to human being.
