Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis – Emerging Technologies Continued
In the previous blog, We discussed some emerging technologies. Today we will discuss the three most leading technologies which are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis.
Artificial Intelligence
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence is a replica process of human intelligence by machine using algorithms.
Types of Artificial Intelligence
Depending on activities, we can classify AI into four parts.
- Reactive Machines
These task specified AI bots have no memory.
For example, Deep Blue, the IBM chess program can identify pieces on a chessboard and make the prediction. It has no memory. As a result, it can’t use past experience.
- Limited Memory
These AI bot has memory. Therefore, it can utilize past experience to inform future decisions.
For example, Decision-making functions in self-driving cars.
- Theory of Mind
These AI bot would understand the psychological emotions. So, it is able to infer intentions and predict behavior.
- Self-Awareness
In other words, AI bots have a sense of self, which gives them consciousness. Certainly, the system can understand its current state. That is to say, this type of AI does not yet exist.
Depending on the process, there are two types of AI
- Weak AI
In Weak AI, the pre-programmed strategy is maintained for any kind of work.
For example, iPhone Siri or Amazon’s Alexa use weak AI. To clarify, it maintains some pre-defined strategies for facing the activities. However, you ask Alexa to play music, it understands keywords like ‘play’, ‘music’. Consequently, it will respond as per the pre-loaded strategy and play the music.
- Strong AI
A strong AI system uses a generalized form of the human brain’s cognitive abilities. When it faces an unfamiliar task, it finds the solutions using its experience, clustering, and association to process data without human intervention.
For example, an AI-based coffee maker hears ‘Good Morning’ and according to voice, it makes coffee for the persons as per food habit.
What is Fuzzy Logic?
Fuzzy Logic is a multi-value logic in which the true values of variables may be any real number between 0 and 1. Therefore, this logic is partially true or partially false. To clarify, fuzzy Logic is a major element of Strong AI.
