Thousands of businesses today, are investing in new, ever-growing technologies in order to save resources and make higher profits. The most famous technology amongst the biggest companies like Google, Amazon, etc. is Artificial Intelligence (AI) which has started revolutionising the way we interact with our surroundings, do business and is even resulting in downsizing and layoffs.

According to a source, 85 million jobs are prognosticated to be eliminated by 2025 which is a much bigger number than what Covid-19 led to. Jobs such as Customer service representative, Data entry, Courier services and more, are all on the path to be operated by technology for maximum efficiency and to reduce risks.

But! Should we actually be scared ?

I believe no! Some of the current jobs are going to vanish as new technologies will give rise to more opportunities and career choices. The following are the few points I feel are crucial to fight this era of exponentially growing system: -

  • Staying aware and updated about new concepts
  • Increasing our adaptability

In the end, it all comes to the bartering system of how much effort we put into moving forward.
