Artificial Intelligence... or is it Elevated Human Intelligence

Almost every industry is moving towards automation in this tech age. Most of the job descriptions, responsibilities, goals, target, you notice, will mention in some way, shape or form, Artificial Intelligence (or AI). If this term sounds a little overwhelming to you, then, take a step back (not physically, but mentally), read that term again. For me, in simple terms, Artificial Intelligence is nothing but a form of Elevated Human Intelligence. I mentioned *elevated* because this concept had always existed in our daily life but not until a few years back, did we actually begin to tap into its true potential.
Data - Life Support
Artificial Intelligence is nothing without data that we feed to this concept. Agreed that we are well on the way to automate the process to feed the data as well. But going back to the basics, data is like "oxygen" and we will ultimately be responsible for this. Data is nothing but a record of, action(s) that is/are taken to achieve a goal/target. Again, in simple terms, basic.human.intelligence.
Quality.. of Life Support
Thanks to AI, whilst we are honing new methods to *process* this large data set, it is us and only us that are responsible for the *quality* of data. Hence, it is very important for us to be fully aware of our actions and its consequences as the near future is of AI. Ultimately, these actions (data) will drive the AI towards in brutal terms, make it or break it, for us.
The Limits
Lastly, there ultimately will be limits to the AI. For, it is just one of the frontiers (not the ultimate one) in technology but the Elevated Human Intelligence has no bounds. Hence, let us make sure that we remain fully accountable for our actions as the future will ultimately depend on us. I will end this post with an old favorite advertisement related to Artificial Intelligence.. or shall I say Elevated... Human... Intelligence?
