Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms vs Human Emotions and Intuition

Every passing day, proliferation of AI led automation is a big time happening and also percolating into everything from production to decision making.

Most of the time AI and Algos are being developed for complex tasks and any complex task requires years of specialized research. The well and skillfully developed AI and Algos bring productivity and efficiency, which fuels growth in economy and paves path for future ideas. 

You will see that, there will be displacement in jobs not replacement.

But the real question is, are they really surpassing the invaluable qualities of Humans so let's analyze.......

AI and algorithms can analyze piles of data from different sources that humans could never do and it helps uncovering complex insights the naked eye could never spot. But once the heavy lifting is done then what! O ya the bloody Human need to make the decision there. Here they play a crucial role of taking decisions based on their present situation using their emotions and intuition.

Also let's take an example of personalized data algorithms a model intelligent to know anyone's preferences and interests on the web. But it will prove resource intensively challenging when they look content outside of their routine interests. So the tuning is required every now and then by Humans.

If you don't provide AI with a vast library of multiple behaviors, it will not function effectively. Moreover Humans self interest! that is part of the emotions also plays crucial role.

In MIT Tech review it said that, Anthony Atkinson a fellow of Nuffield College at the University of Oxford and a professor at the London School of Economics shared his views that the trajectory of technological progress is not inevitable, he says: rather, it depends on choices by governments, consumers, and businesses as they decide which technologies get researched and commercialized and how they are used. Again Humans self interest is there that is part of emotions.

There are Experts claim that, psychopaths and criminals could be "cured" with the development of emotion-control devices. The devices will be placed in the areas of the brain that make these people different and help them to lead more normal, productive lives. Here too decisions are made by humans.

Humans are succeeding in developing Self-diagnostic, self-repairing robots, War may be fought entirely between robot armies, Autonomous production plants, more bonding with Electronic pets instead of organic pets, Thought recognition as an everyday input process etc. 

Anyway without the element of uncertainty there is no great reward, But one thing is for sure that they can never have emotions and intuition.
