How we live, work, and play are all changed by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The market for AI and Machine Learning (ML) expertise is increasing rapidly; calling for new technology implementations that lead to self-driving cars and recommendation systems or enhancing search engine results. The way corporations work has been transformed by emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, blockchain, and AI.
In this article, I will take you through the first step in introducing AI and its importance in making our lives easier. ?(LeCun, Bengio, & Hinton, 2015) introduced the meaning of AI as the property of machines that mimic human intelligence as characterized by behaviors such as cognitive ability, memory, learning, and decision making. It is an exploding field that encompasses many applied fields including language translation, self-driving cars, and game playing. Laudon & Laudon book identified AI as Systems that take data inputs, process them, and produce outputs (like all software programs) and that can perform many complex tasks that would be difficult or impossible for humans to perform.

AI has three fundamental principles behind it. Machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks are these simple notions. Such ideas contribute to the further development of applications for data mining, natural language processing, and driving. Although AI and machine learning may seem like interchangeable words, with machine learning, AI has generally considered the broader term and the other two AI concepts a subset of it. The Deep Learning mechanism is based on the theory of artificial neural networks. Neurons or brain cells are imitated. The stuff we find in our biology has inspired artificial neural networks. The neural net models use mathematics and computer science principles to simulate the functions of the human brain, enabling further learning and command to act. The functions of densely interconnected brain cells are integrated by an artificial neural network, but these neurons, or nodes, are created from human-made code instead of being constructed from biology. Via the principles of neural network operations, AI imitates human minds.
