Artificial Intelligence #242

Hey, in this issue: man arrested for creating fake bands with AI; if robots could lie, would we be okay with it?; AI’s impact on elections is being overblown; Google's AlphaProteo generates novel proteins; novel architecture makes neural networks more understandable; a survey on large language model security and privacy; and more.

The new Fiddler Trust Service is 1.5x faster, 6x cheaper, and 50% more accurate when benchmarked against publicly available datasets. The Fiddler Trust Service uses proprietary trust models to monitor the root cause of groundedness, quality, and safety metrics. Try the interactive demo.

Andrei - I was a risk consultant for IBM. About 105 million U.S. workers could lose their jobs to artificial intelligence - people who deal with information are at risk. There are already robot teachers, desk clerks, and even robot fashion models. In my Beijing speech at the AI conference I used Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to talk to the audience. Capers Jones Capers Jones
