Andriy, you make an intriguing point about the financial sector's susceptibility to AI and automation. Your analogy of a modern bank as a database that allows APIs to manipulate numbers is spot on. That said, I think the human element, particularly in areas like fraud prevention and financial advice, still has significant value. It's not just about fraud detection or analysis, but also about building relationships, trust, and providing nuanced, personalized services that AI isn't quite there yet. While we should definitely leverage AI to make processes more efficient, I'd argue it's a repositioning of roles rather than a job loss situation. People could be redirected to roles that need human touch and cognition, leaving repetitive tasks for AI. I am looking forward to your insights on this in your upcoming AI newsletter.
