I hope everyone realizes that artificial light has only been around on our planet since 1893. Blue light right now at the 28th latitude only has 13% blue light. On June 21st it has 26% blue light. This means the sun varies its blue light seasonally. Sunlight has 42% IR-A light year round. This IR-A light is the natural antidote to blue light from the sun.
Just so we are clear, chronic artificial blue light is equivalent to chronic excessive carbohydrates because both contain excessive photoelectric energies. This means that chronic fake blue light from technology and TV dehydrate your mitochondria just as a piece of steak is dehydrated in a microwave. Why? Blue light slows electron chain flow on your inner mitochondrial membrane and this lowers the spinning of the ATPase. Most people forget that glucose metabolism and beta oxidation of fats makes CO2 and water as a side effect in mitochondria. This is is a sign of healthy mitochondria. If your mitochondria are inefficient for any reason, by definition this means they have a higher heteroplasmy rate, you become dehydrated by definition as the picture below shows. Sun energy uses water and CO2 to make glucose by photosynthesis in a chloroplast. Mitochondria reverse the photosynthesitic process in animals. So when you are constipated, dry skin, eyes, or vagina, no saliva, hung over, have headaches, are prone to concussions, these are all signs of poor mitochondrial function in many disease states.
Mitochondria reverse what chloroplasts do in plant photosynthesis. This alters mitochondrial functioning after a period of time because our mitochondria evolved expecting a seasonal variation of energies in both photons and electrons.
Many people now get headaches when they go to gym for New year's resolutions and work out under modenr man made blue light that saves electric power. It saves energy because it subtracts out the purple and red healing portions of the visible spectrum. Most of those gym lights are made of fluorescent or LED lights. In a word, it destroys its ability to properly signal environmental signs to our cellular machinery. It affects this molecular machinery pretty quickly by fast forwarding our circadian chemical clocks to light. These clocks are all biologically tied to the cell cycle that controls growth. How does this happen? The first clinical sign is a change in a hormone’s secretion in the brain. AM blue light in sun turns on the flow of hormones. AM sunlight and the lack of blue light at dusk dramatically alters the surge of the pituitary secretion of prolactin and dopamine. This happens after 4 hours of darkness or after a really big release of oxytocin. Chronic fake blue light ruins this system and cause your hormone panels to be lowered tremdously after any chronic blue light exposure. This is why modern lights cause myopia, retinal diseases, and infertility in young people.

6 年Hi Jack. I am an American ex-pat, Geratrician MD, and young child mom living in Norway. My town has installed 4000K Ra 70 lights as the new street lamps and I am livid! Blue light is not natural, not good, and not aesthetically correct to use as blanket public lighting. I have written a manifesto and sent it out to as many politicians and city workers as possible, as well as an article for the local paper. I am taking this to the top, as I have been threatened, dismissed, or worst, ignored. I cannot go out without my blue blocker glasses. I cannot allow my city to suffer, my childen to be affected, and my natural surroundings to be destroyed. Fighting the fight, one LED light at a time. Lighting can be energy efficient, yet environmentally destructive.?
