Angle heads are mainly used in machining centers, gantry boring and milling machines and vertical lathes. The light ones can be installed in the tool magazine and can automatically change tools between the tool magazine and the machine tool spindle; the medium and heavy ones have greater rigidity and torque. Suitable for heavy cutting processing needs.
Angle head classification:
1. Single output right-angle angle head – relatively common and can be widely used in various usage situations.
2. Dual-output right-angle angle head – better concentric accuracy and vertical accuracy, which can avoid the trouble of manual angle rotation and table correction, avoid repeated errors, and improve production and processing efficiency and accuracy.
3. Fixed angle angle head – the angle head outputs at a fixed special angle (0-90 degrees) and is used for milling, drilling, tapping and other processing of specific angle surfaces.
4. Universal angle head – the adjustable angle range is generally 0~90 degrees, but there are some special ones that can be adjusted beyond 90 degrees.
Angle head application occasions:
1. For grooving and drilling on the inner wall of pipes or small spaces, as well as on the inner wall of holes, the Meihua angle head can achieve at least 15mm hole processing;
2. Precision workpieces are fixed at one time and multiple surfaces need to be processed;
3. When processing at any angle relative to the datum plane;
4. The processing is maintained at a special angle for copy milling pins, such as ball head end milling;
5. When there is a hole in the hole, the milling head or other tools cannot penetrate into the hole to process the small hole;
6. Oblique holes, oblique grooves, etc. that the machining center, such as internal holes in engines and box shells cannot process;
