So many of our episodes are aimed at helping professionals navigate difficult conversations in business.

While we love sharing this content - I had to remind myself that many of us are also working to balance work with a healthy and happy personal life as well.

If you can relate (and/or if it’s been a bit of a struggle) this episode is for you.?

I’m excited to welcome Marcus Trufant and Jessica Trufant onto the show to discuss navigating difficult conversations in business, marriage and raising children.

Following his retirement (and with the support of his lovely wife Jessica), Marcus, a 10-year NFL veteran, made a major shift in his life by refocusing his attention in business and family.?

While exciting, this transition came with its own set of challenges and difficult conversations and I’m excited that they’ve decided to drop in and share some of their wisdom with the Negotiate Anything family.?

Bonus: If you love this episode (and I know you will) Marcus and Jessica have their own podcast, Truly Unruly, where they dive deep into the realities of successfully balancing business and family life.?

As we wrap up the year and head into the holiday season - it’s the perfect time to check in on work-life balance.?

Take a listen today!

I’m curious - in what ways are you hoping to get better at difficult conversations at home? Comment below.

Great stuff as always Kwame . . . expectations, boundaries. Wish I'd been clearer on these things for myself earlier in life

Awesome content! Great interview. Informative and inspiring! Thanks ???? for sharing!

Gems: You can be very competitive and humble at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive concepts. It's highly unlikely that you will be able to accommodate every single request or people who want to create partnerships. Some aren't even worthwhile. Therefore, boundaries are essential in every aspect of life albeit business, personal or social. We always find time for what is important. Violation of expectations is the root of all misgivings. I like that.
