Article explaining new structure in LinkedIn

Objective

Dr Stephen Rayward has updated his LinkedIn structure and made changes to better organise his articles.?Here there are three article groups of interest:

• ??Stephen’s general articles.
• ??Excel articles.
• ??Mineral processing articles.

Readers are encouraged to follow whatever articles interest them.

Background

Stephen’s Company is Midas Tech.?Midas Tech has two objectives:

1.??????Mineral processing data analysis methods.

2.??????Improving usage of Microsoft Excel.

With improved changes to LinkedIn on how newsletters can be produced, the old LinkedIn structure has been discontinued and a newsletter structure has been created.

Old LinkedIn Structure

The old LinkedIn structure (see Figure 1) had Stephen Rayward’s LinkedIn profile with 1 company page called ‘Professional Engineering’ and a newsletter called ‘Excel Engineering’ (with 8 articles). This old LinkedIn structure has been changed and expanded to provide for another newsletter. The plan is to have a newsletter or related articles attached to each page.

New LinkedIn structure

The new LinkedIn structure (see Figure 2) has Stephen Rayward’s LinkedIn profile with 1 company page now called ‘Excel Engineering’ and 1 new showcase page called ‘Mineral Processing Analysis’. The ‘Excel Engineering’ page now has the newsletter ‘Excel Engineering’. Some newsletter articles will be updates of earlier articles and reposted articles to be published in the new ‘Excel Engineering’ newsletter. The ‘Excel Engineering’ page covers the creation of Excel workbooks that are easy to understand, are error-free and automated.?

The ‘Mineral Processing Analysis’ page will include articles on the analysis of mineral processing data with the purpose of improving plant operation. More specific topics include:

• ??Mass Balancing,
• ??Optimisation,
• ??Simulation and
• ??Modern mathematical methods such as Information Theory, Machine Learning and Particle-based Modelling.
