Article 7: How to View All the ESS Scheduled Processes/Jobs Submitted by Another Users for a Single Fusion User in Oracle Fusion?

Oracle fusion does not show any specific role for this Requirement. To achieve this, we must create a separate custom role with required roles and data security policy.

It includes mainly 4 steps.

1.???? Create an abstract role in security console.

2.???? Add role membership with required roles.

3.???? Assign the Custom role to the required users.

4.???? Run the ESS process: Import User and Role Application Security Data

Step 1

Tools>>Security Console>>Roles>>Create Role

Click on Security Console
Select Roles and Click on Create Role
Provide Required Details

?

Provide role name as ESS CUSTOM (you can choose any name format as per your requirement and understanding)

The provide a Role code which is not currently existing in the system.

Select the Role category as “Common – Abstract Roles “

Then click on next till Role Hierarchy.

Select Role Hierarchy

Select Role Hierarchy and Select add role.

Click on Add Role
Search for ESS Administrator Role

Selected ESS Administrator Role.

ESS Administrator Role Consists of Operator and Monitor Role

ESS Administrator Role will add ESS Operator and Monitor Role. For monitoring we only required ESS Monitor Role. ESS Administrator role consists of ESS Operator and Monitor Role.

Step 3

After adding the Required roles in the Role Hierarchy, click on next to “Users” tab.

Search for the Required user to add this Role directly into User

Search for the User and Click on Add user to Role.

After submitting the Process, the Custom role and privileges will be reflected for the User.
