Let's see the Business central objects and System elements
?Record: A group of fields is controlled as a unit in many operations. Table data consists of rows which are called records and column fields
?Control: Components that provide UI capabilities
?Procedures: callable routines that can be accessed by other AL codes. There are built-in and custom procedures
?Trigger: When an event occurs, triggers will initiate an action which will be communicated to the application object. A trigger is an object.
?Properties: Properties are the behaviours of objects. For example size, captions, positions, relationships, and whether the element is editable or viewable.
?Field: An individual data item can be defined either in a table or in temporary storage.
?Object numbers and field numbers: The object numbers are used to uniquely identify each object
?Events: Two types of events are there. Manual and Platform events. Use procedures to raise the events
That's all for today.
Tomorrow we will learn about the Tables with Example
