1. Semi Trailer Air Suspension Airbag Failure
(1) Semi Trailer air suspension wear on the airbag surface
The gap between the airbag and surrounding parts is not enough, or there are foreign objects such as sand, gravel, and soil on the airbag base, which may cause abnormal friction when the airbag is working and cause damage to the airbag. When the shock absorber is damaged, the air pipe or brake line is loose, it is also easy to cause friction between the airbag and the airbag surface, causing damage to the airbag surface.
(2) Semi Trailer air suspension chemical corrosion on the airbag surface
When the airbag surface is stained with grease, lubricating oil, gasoline, etc., if it is not cleaned in time, it will corrode the rubber.
(3) Semi Trailer air suspension airbag aging
The airbag may age prematurely due to contamination with grease, etc., or it may be normal aging.
(4) Semi Trailer air suspension low or no air in the airbag
The air suspension dedicated air tank is empty or has low pressure. When the trailer air pressure is lower than 6 kg, the pressure protection valve will stop supplying air to the air suspension air tank to ensure that the brake system maintains sufficient pressure;
The air pipe is blocked or folded, and it is not over-inflated;
The level height valve connecting rod falls off;
The level height valve is damaged.
(5) Airbag wrinkles
When the vehicle is transported or hoisted, or when entering or exiting a maintenance workshop or a large ramp, the airbag is overstretched and does not return to its original position, resulting in airbag wrinkles.
2. Semi Trailer Air Suspension Upper Cover Failure
(1) Semi Trailer Air Suspension Upper cover dented
The air suspension height is too low, and the air spring has been working at a low pressure for a long time;
Height control valve failure:
The air pressure in the rubber airbag is too low, and the vehicle is seriously overloaded;
The wrong air spring model is used;
(2) Semi Trailer Air Suspension Upper cover bulges
The air suspension height is too high, and the air spring has been working at an abnormal pressure for a long time;
Height control valve failure;
The shock absorber is damaged or the model does not match;

(3) The screws of the Semi Trailer Air Suspension upper cover are loose and disengaged
The air spring fastened with screws may be unevenly stressed due to the inconsistent tightening force of the bolts on the circumference of the upper cover during assembly, and the bolts may be loosened and disengaged during operation.
3. Semi Trailer Air Suspension Throttle Valve Failure Throttle Valve Falling Off
For throttle valves that are fastened with bolts to ensure the relative position between the adjustment seat and the valve sleeve, the nut is prone to loosening during vibration, causing the valve seat and the valve sleeve to loosen and fall off.
4. Semi Trailer Air Suspension Leakage failure
(1) The joint between the airbag and the upper cover plate/piston base is cracked or leaked, or the root of the bolt leaks. This is generally caused by the air spring operating beyond the allowable extension stroke for a long time;
(2) The air pressure in theSemi Trailer Air Suspension airbag is too high and the overload is serious;
(3) The shock absorber is damaged or the model is inconsistent;
(4) The buffer block is eccentrically contacted, resulting in local wear at the joint between the rubber airbag and the edge of the upper cover plate or the piston base;
(5) The temperature in winter is too low and the temperature difference is large, resulting in damage to the outer surface of the airbag.
