Article 4: Manual Updating of Employee/Worker Number
In this Article I’m showing How to Manually Update an Employee/Worker Number that’s Already generated by Automatically in Oracle Fusion.
First, Search for the Employee User which we want to Change the Person Number.
Navigation:
Tools >> Security Console>> Users>>Search
I've Created one Test user with a Random Number
Created one Worker as ' Test MAILUSER ' (You can choose any name for Testing Purpose) with Person Number (Imported through HDL).
We are Going to Change the Person Number Manually.
Navigation:
Tools >> Security Console>> Users>>Search
Required Change One Setup in the Manage Enterprise HCM Information
1.?????? Task – Manage Enterprise HCM Information
Navigation>> Setup and Maintenance>>Global Search>>Manage Enterprise HCM Information.
Select the Task and Click on Edit.
Select Correct
Then go to Enterprise Information
Under Enterprise Information,
Select the Person Number Generation Method as Manual.
Then Submit.
Select Yes.
After this Setup Change,
Go to the My Client Groups and Select Person Management.
You must Assign Human Resource Manager Role to see this Functionality, because this role consists almost all Privileges (510 Privileges).
Otherwise Create a HCM Custom Role (Job Role) with Required Privileges (Priv: Manage Person, Person Work Area, Search Person)
Select Person Management,
Under Actions, Select the Dropdown to see the Person Details.
Under Person Information Tab we can see the Edit Option for Manually Changing Employee Number.
Then Close the Form and go to Security Console.
We will See the New number is reflected under Users in Security Console.
Navigation
Tools>>Security Console>>Users>>Search
Select the User.
