Article 13: How to Disable Mail Notification When Creating a New User in Oracle Fusion?

This is a simple and small article which is related to users in oracle fusion. When we are creating a new user in oracle fusion, the user will receive a notification that account created successfully in oracle fusion with a password reset option, if the user’s mail ID is a valid mail ID. If the user does not want to receive any notification regarding the creation of new account, how can we disable that?

To disable the notification,

Tools>>Security Console>> User Categories

Tools>>Security Console>> User Categories
Click on the “Default “

Currently we have one user category. We can create other user categories based on the requirement.

Select “Notifications” and Click on Edit
Select "ORA New Account Template"

Notification is enabled for the new user creation. We must disable it. Then system will not send mail notification to the users.

For that, click on the ORA New Account Template Hyperlink.

Uncheck the “Enabled “checkbox to make it Disable.
Then "Save and Close"
Click on Done
