ARTEFIERA 2025: Last Days to Discover Cortesi Gallery Masterpieces
Only two days are left before the end of this remarkable edition of ARTEFIERA, Bologna.
Today, Cortesi Gallery highlights three works that emphasize the three-dimensional aspects of art, exploring the relationships between space, material, and form.
The work by Giuseppe Uncini stands out for its ability to bring weight and structure to the pictorial surface. Using concrete and iron, the artist creates an interaction of solids and voids, shadows and reliefs, transforming the canvas into a solid, architectural, almost sculptural entity.
From Gianfranco Pardi, we present a series of its productions entitled "Architettura", where geometric forms seem to emerge from the pictorial surface, creating a dynamic spatial construction. Often inspired by architecture, his works explore the balance between order and movement, generating a sense of depth and lightness.
One of the most striking pieces on display is a silver "estroflessione" by Agostino Bonalumi. The canvas expands and shapes itself into space creating a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow, further enhanced by the silver tone.
