The Art World Is Over

It's official. The art world has changed.

You can no longer get a free education (mine was free and I studied at Wimbledon, Chelsea and Central St Martins).

You can't find a gallery to represent you any more. I used to have Hirschl Contemporary Art, Paton Gallery and Mark Jason Gallery. I experienced showing solo in Cork Street. Now it's pretty impossible.

You can't hold on to your teaching job at a reputable university or art school. The art school may be closing or you may find your department is dispanded. I taught at The University of Central Lancashire.

You have to work with art agencies and do online exhibitions and yet still are told that the commision is 50%

But are we giving up? Hell no!!!!!!!
