The ART of?WAR, written by SUN TZU in China some 2,500 yrs ago, is one of the most studied books in history. However the vast majority of people, even nowadays, do NOT understand the actual deep meanings of it.??

Who indeed understood it, am sure, was the Vietnamese General Vo Nguyen Giap who, against all tremendous odds, for 30 consecutive years won all the wars he fought, including the most significant of all, against the All-Might United States!?

ancient classics, I trust that not studying and understanding in-deep ancient Chinese ancient wisdom texts, Taoism, the essence of Yin-Yang, and the intertwined permutations of the I Ching's 64 hexagrams, it will be difficult to sense fully what Sun Tzu tried to convey.

I know it will sound silly but the ultimate ART is in fact is?"TIMING",?feeling when is the "right" or most beneficial moment or situation to act and when to apply the wise strategies (which extends to our regular lives). ?Or also very important, decide NOT to act timely. The "water-dividing line" is to?"feel deep in oneself" (westernizing it, feel-in-the-guts) the PROPER TIME.

The correct timing is NOT only a simple 4-letter word, but in fact, it is a rational-cum-metaphysical context at the crossroad of an interrelationship of events.

Metaphysical is not a kind of magical or God-sent knowledge but a state of deep inner focus, a meditative-like mind that leads to intuition and foresight. This was the Way of Sages of his epoch! All the savviest mechanistic strategies in the world will not necessarily be successful if not applied in the?appropriate TIME..." neither rushing ahead nor lagging behind"!?

In this way, gradually, if one is sincerely earnest tunned into this perception, “the night fades away and the Sun shines”. As another fantastic Chinese Wiseman of hundreds of years ago, LIU I-MING put it: “study it widely, question it closely, ponder it carefully and eagerly to feel it in your bones and understand (stand-under) it clearly…”

However?these can NOT be simply taught or put in words, one has to develop the “gut-feeling” into oneself. As one other Chinese Sage from some 2.5 millennia ago, the renowned LAO TZU, the originator of the metaphysical spiritual "doctrine"/ philosophy of TAOism (TAO ~ the Universal Unified Pure Energy, the principle underlying all principles) opened up his also a global bestseller “The TAO Te Ching” (The Tao and its Virtue) with the phrase?“The TAO that can be told (put in words) is not the real/eternal TAO”.

No entanto, a grande maioria das pessoas, mesmo hoje em dia, N?O compreende o profundo real significado do livro. Quem de fato o entendeu, eu tenho certeza, foi o general Vietnamita Vo Nguyen Giap que, contra todas as tremendas probabilidades, por 30 anos consecutivos venceu todas as guerras que travou, incluindo a mais significativa de todas, a contra os Estados Unidos!

Existem táticas e estratégias engenhosas no clássico de Sun Tzu e muitos autores recentes publicaram livros aplicando as mesmas a todos os tipos de coisas da vida, mas sera que eles realmente entenderam a mensagem principal ou apenas as adaptaram as brilhantes estrategias cartesiana e mecanisticamente às suas publica??es?

Eu sei que pode parecer tolo, mas essa?ARTE?é de fato,?"o TEMPO",?saber quando é a situa??o ou momento "CERTO" (TIMING) ou mais benéfico para se agir. Ou tambem importante decidir NAO fazer no tempo certo. A "chave divisoria-de-águas" é?saber o?TEMPO MAIS APROPRIADO. Todas as estratégias mais sábias do mundo n?o ser?o necessariamente bem-sucedidas se NAO forem aplicadas?no TEMPO mais adequado..."nem correndo a frente e nem ficando para?trás"!

Só se perceberá isso depois varios anos de observa??o ardente, analitica e cumulativa das circunstancias ao seu redor e do mundo em geral. Ent?o,?gradualmente, se alguém estiver sinceramente sintonizado com essa percep??o,?é?que “a noite passa e o Sol brilha” ... e ai ficará?claro para você. Como outro sábio chinês de centenas de anos atrás, LIU I-MING colocou: “estude amplamente, questione de perto, pondere cuidadosamente para poder entender com real clareza?...”

Tive o destino de, como um perfeccionista observador e me esfor?ando para crescer profissionalmente, consegui estudar, conduzir pesquisas e/ou trabalhar em 6 países muito diferentes culturalmente e a viajar para mais de 30 outros para congressos, feiras e a negócios, o que ampliou a minha percep??o disso. N?o estou querendo dizer que tudo esse esfor?o seja necessário para compreendê-lo e certamente NAO estou nem chegando perto de querer dizer que “sei tudo”.

No entanto,?essa sabedoria e sensibilidade N?O podem ser ensinadas ou colocadas em palavras, é preciso desenvolver o “sentimento” em si mesmo. Como um outro sábio chinês de cerca de 2,5 milênios atrás, o renomado LAO TZU, o originador da mundialmente importante "doutrina" espiritual metafísica/ filosofia do TAOismo (TAO ~ a Energia Universal Pura Unificada , o princípio subjacente a todos os princípios) iniciou seu também best-seller internaiconal o “TAO Te Ching” (O Tao e a Sua Virtude) com a frase: “O TAO que pode ser contado (colocado em palavras) n?o é o verdadeiro/eterno TAO”.
