Saying no to a customer or stakeholders is essential. When you are working within a project with already time plans and budget agreed there is a need to say no. My experience within the telecom business as the senior project manager prior to starting the implementation of the project. I have already planned the teams of engineers, what sites are first to last therefore supplying the best network to both customer and stakeholders I also have planned equipment deliveries to site. It is not easy to therefore change the plan as it will possibly cause additional costs. I always told my customers that if they request a change to the plan then I required at least two week notice allowing me time to arrange the plan. I also find when working with customers get them to trust me, holding weekly meetings show progress, explain all issues, gain there confidence then you will find saying NO is acceptable.

We have to write more abut the art to uderstand NO an accept it. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to find the right way of comunicate, and a simple clarifying way to say NO would be better if people would be more open to accept facts.
