The Art of Satelliting
I recall that one of the most creative marketing campaigns that Intelsat conducted while I worked there was one called “The Art of Satelliting”, back in the late 1990’s or early 2000’s.
Given the proliferation of LEO and MEO satellite constellations, I was curious to learn how today's constellations of over 6 thousand satellites would look like under different art styles. So I used NCAT4 to generate a global map of all current non-GEO SATCOM satellites -with their respective fields of view- and ran it through an online image editor. Results are impressive.. check it out!

In NCAT4 I selected SpaceX Starlink, Eutelsat OneWeb , SES Satellites O3B/mPower, Iridium and Globalstar to generate a map with all their current satellites combined.
Art images
I then uploaded the image to the LunaPic online editor and selected different art effects: From Picasso to van Gogh to Escher to Kandinski and more... results are very cool..

All original maps extracted from NSR's non-GEO constellations analysis toolkit (NCAT). All art images were generated using the (free) LunaPic online photo editor.
