The Art of Referral Appreciation: 3 more Ideas for Business Growth

A couple of days ago I shared my thoughts on the subject of appreciation (gratitude) for our referral partners. It’s clear from the comments I’ve received that creatively brainstorming the subject can produce some original ideas.? Here are more …?

Idea 1: Exclusive Referral Events

Action Points:

1. Host an exclusive event for your top referrers, either virtually or in person, where they can network with each other and gain insights from your team.

2. Provide opportunities for referrers to share their experiences and success stories with your products or services during the event. Ask each person to invite a client to add their perspective of the working relationship they have with the referrer.

3. Offer personalised tokens of appreciation, such as customized gifts or certificates, to attendees.

We do all of this at BNI of course which is why I know it works.?

?#ReferralAppreciationEvent ? #TopReferrers ? #ExclusiveNetworking ? #ClientAppreciation?

Idea 2: Referrer Spotlight Series

Action Points:

1. Create a monthly "Referrer Spotlight" series where you showcase one referrer and their business on your website, blog, or social media channels.

2. Conduct interviews or create profiles that highlight their journey, experiences, and the impact of their referrals. ?

3. Share these spotlights with your audience, encouraging others to become referrers as well.

?#ReferrerSpotlight ? #BusinessPartnerships ? #SuccessStories ? #ClientRecognition?

Idea 3: Referral Advisory Council

Action Points:

1. Establish a Referral Advisory Council consisting of your most trusted and committed referrers.

2. Hold regular virtual meetings or discussions with this council to seek their input on business strategies, new offerings, and ways to enhance the referral process.

3. Implement their valuable feedback to improve your products, services, and referral program.

?#ReferralAdvisoryCouncil ? #BusinessFeedback ? #ClientCollaboration ? #StrategicPartnerships?

These ideas can help you deepen your relationships with referrers, showing them how much you value their contributions and turning them into even stronger brand advocates.? Moreover, it will help you focus more on referrals as a strategy for growth.?

If you have a business in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight and want to see these ideas in practice contact me direct and I’ll see how I can match you with a group best suited to your needs.?

Do we take referrals (word-of-mouth recommendations) for granted? Yes - No? So how many times do we actually show our appreciation? How many times do we think of getting our referral partners together to make them feel special and perhaps brainstorm collaboration? or are we too busy chasing business the hard way? Great article Alyson.
