The Art Of Leadership: Where Can It Lead You?
Have you ever experienced leading people? How was it like? Others may say, “It’s hard, people just won’t listen to me!” or “It’s okay, as long as I have the power to control they will have no choice anyway.”
If you’re the type of person who loves to lead, what’s that for anyway? For authority? For having the power? Or only for your own purposes?
Let this be a guide on your leadership:
1. A true leader is the one who makes his team grow and expand for themselves under his influence. When all of the members are rising, so as the leader too. If all of the members are failing, the leader is also failing too.
Whatever the result of the team has made, is a reflection of how you lead them as a leader.
2. A leader is totally different to a boss.
A leader helps his team to move forward, a boss will only throw papers at you (well maybe literally too) and figure it out yourself of what you’ll do next.
A leader will lead his people, under his instructions, and decide as if his life is depending on it. A boss will command you and you have no choice but to follow him or he’ll fire you.
3. Being a leader takes a huge amount of commitment in his words and actions. Humility from his own mistakes and not come from his ego is another trait amongst great leaders. He trusts not only himself but also his team. He also has courage toward his vision and making the key decisions - whether it leads to the right one or not.
Sounds really hard, isn’t it?
However, and whatever your reason is, leading people can be one of the most fulfilling roles that you’ll ever experience. In leading people, many lives can be saved, changed, and so much better as long as you won’t give up on them.
Be the Leader. I Believe In You!
