PODCAST
At the end of last year, I had the immense pleasure of interviewing Dean Forbes to discuss his hugely inspiring life/career journey - from periods of homelessness as a teen to becoming a massively successful tech CEO with over 2 BILLION Euros worth of exits under his belt (last one alone was sold for 1 BILLION)
The episode is out now and includes not only his life story but the many lessons he has learned about culture, leadership, grit and negotiation in his two decades-long career in tech.

The Only Woman by Immy Humes
These Trailblazers Were the Only Women in the Room Where It Happened. Immy Humes has written a book which highlights 100 historical photographs of lone women who were hidden throughout history, working among groups of men.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Immy Humes highlights 100 photographs in which only one woman appears amid a group of men—she’s often shunted aside, or nearly cropped out altogether. These are the images and backstories of figures from politicians like Shirley Chisholm to artists such as Frida Kahlo, as well as a number of unknowns, who defiantly left their mark in a man’s world.
This book is, essentially, a study of power, as seen in 100 photographs of groups of men—artists, workers, musicians, dentists, lawyers—with only a single woman. Spanning more than a century and a half, from 1862 to 2020, the snapshots were taken in 20 countries.
This is a fascinating look at the seeming outliers - women who found their place in power, despite the adversity they faced trying to fit into what was very much a man's world.

Break Point gets up close and personal with top up and coming players on the tennis circuit through an entire year travelling across the globe for all four Grand Slams and the ATP and WTA tours.
