Opening:?Art Program for Hanifl Nature Center at the Minnesota Zoo

Art Force has partnered with the Minnesota Zoo to organize a rotating art exhibit at the new Hanifl Nature Center. The Hanifl Nature Center is a central access point to the Zoo's latest project, The Treetop Trail. The new trail will bring visitors up to 32 feet above the ground immersed in nature.

The art program, named?Rooted in Nature: An exhibition of art inspired by trees, features art from 38 Minnesota artists centered around the themes of Human Connections, Parts of a Tree, Trees through the Seasons, and Minnesota Trees.

The new trail and nature center opens on July 28th 2023. The artwork will be on display and available for purchase through December 31, 2023.

Minneapolis Convention Center Walking Tour:?8/16

We will be hosting a tour of the art program at the Minneapolis Convention Center at 4 PM on Wednesday August 16.?If you missed the spring walking tour, you have another opportunity to hear from some of the participating artists and view the show in its final weeks!

The 29th ArtCar + ArtBike Parade

Lake Harriet,?Sat Jul 29th 5PM - 6PM.

Artists use the car and the bike as their canvas to create beautiful works of art! But Saturday, July 29th is their special parade.Join the artists as they cruise around the lake on their mobile works of art!Bike, ride or walk over to the Lyndale Park Rose Garden or find a place around the lake to watch the show! Bring a lawn chair and join us with a picnic from Bread and Pickle at the Lake Harriet Band Shell.
