The Art of Focus
The world is constantly changing, so no matter how often we learn to focus, there will always be something new to notice.
For most of us, we gather data from the world through the five senses. The question is, how do we pick up on signals that can't be heard nor defined?
Focusing, or paying attention, isn't simply an act, it's a state of existing. It's a conscious state of awareness, allowing the observed to reveal more of itself without our intervention. Whether you're noticing yourself, someone else, an image, a post, or anything at all, we are unable to change what it is that we're noticing, but we can change our ability to notice.
Pay attention to clues. Clues are subtle, and can be missed without us knowing. Sometimes these clues are the exact answer we're looking for. Sometimes they are an echo of repeating ideas, and sometimes they can affirm or deny the path that we're on. Again, we aren't in control of the clues, but we can change our ability to notice them. The more open you are, the more clues you will find.
Strong intentions can lead you to a specific answer, and letting go of intentions can also help you find your way. Be aware.

Something to Note:
Practice is the embodiment of an approach to a concept. When we repeat this practice of opening our ability to notice, we build a habit. A habit where our expanded awareness is our default way of being.
