ART-ficial Intelligence is powering the creative professionals.

During performance appraisal discussions in the past when the boss said, 'You need to learn to collaborate with others,' we had some specific individuals in mind. Occasionally it would be a department or function singled out for working together. In future most of us will be told we need to collaborate better with Artificial Intelligence.

Do you believe AI is going to make us more creative or less?

  1. Automate content creation: An expert can suggest which wine is best paired with the food you made. AI is helping content creators and influencers to create content that is aesthetically pleasing. Adobe Sensei is helping creative professionals automate certain aspects of content creation like layout design, image selection and suggesting fonts that pairs better.
  2. Predictive analytics: Once you have made the content you wish to post, AI can tell you the best day and time to post your content. AI can analyze data sets to identify patterns, preferences, and trends, which Marketers use to determine the optimal time to post on social media platforms. 3. Individualization: AI-powered tools can help creative professionals target the individual customer. Netflix’s uses an algorithm to pair aggregate information about contents’ popularity and audience along with a specific consumer’s viewing history, ratings, time of day during viewing, devices used, and length of watching time. The most well-known creators and artists have been prolific in producing their work. Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer who is created over 50,000 works of art in a variety of styles and media.

Mozart composed over 600 works, including symphonies, operas, chamber music, and choral music. He was a prolific creator.

Stephen King is a prolific author who has published over 60 novels and nearly 200 short stories. He is known for his horror and suspense novels, including Carrie, The Shining, and IT, which have become bestsellers and been adapted into successful films and TV shows. King's prolific output has allowed him to hone his craft and experiment with different styles and genres, ultimately leading to his success as a writer.

By harnessing the power of AI to generate ideas, create alternatives, and synthesize multiple ideas, creators can set themselves apart. By collaborating with the power of AI to augment the creative process, creators will push the boundaries of what is possible. That is exactly what creativity is all about.

I don't know a lot about AI, but the more I read about it, the more I feel like I should learn as much as I can. I will turn 72 next month and even at my age, I am still intrigued by what AI can do and does every day. I know the competition between individuals can be fierce at times, especially when jobs are scarce and there are more people to fill positions than there are positions to fill. My main plan here is to learn as much as I can, and then pass what I've learned to younger people here on LinkedIn.

interesting read Abhijit, I especially agree on this point "the power of AI to generate ideas, create alternatives, and synthesize multiple ideas, creators can set themselves apart" in my experience, I often use AI to generate alternative metaphors to something I already did, or something awesome I saw from someone else, then from the 10+ alternatives I pick the one that resonates the most and start iterating.

Please note that Picasso, Gallilieo and a newton did not need AI to ptiducevtgeur creative ideas & conceits : AIbus a good augmentation skill fir youngsters trying to impress their bosses in corporate America. But you have to be a genius thinker and solution creator with ability to learn from past failure experiences: AI can make you smarter at using technology to understand trends and possible outcomes , but they it does not make you a GENIUS??
