The Art of Delegation

Do you delegate your work effectively?  Do you use this tool to be more productive?  Most of the leaders seem to fail in this seemingly simple task of delegation. There are couple of challenges. 

The first is the trust element between the leader and the employee. Surprisingly, many a times I have noticed that it is the leader who is responsible for this and not the other way around.

Second is a clear role responsibility, which leads us to the tasks to delegate?  Many times the wrong tasks are delegated and the right ones are not. 

The real truth is that the art of delegation becomes a bit tougher; because it is also linked to the ego.
