The art critic...

In my latest painting session I created a fun, large lion portrait. I continued to use acrylic & enamel paints on primed canvas. I love painting large pieces. (This canvas is 36" x 48") The open space seems to invite me to fill it! I completed this piece Saturday and that night we had several family members visit. (Not to look at the painting :). I still had the painting leaning against a wall in the living room. One of our younger family members apparently is a tough art critic in the making. Every time an adult left the room he would kick the painting over. This had to take some thought and effort due to the fact that the painting is at least 2 inches taller and much larger then his stature. I will try my best to appease this seasoned art critic with at least on of my future works. Lol!
