The Art of Closing
“Don Carlos”
Hi! I'm "Don Carlos"! I invest in American Real Estate. I invest in American businesses and create jobs in America. It's the American Dream!!!!
- After you ask your prospect your last transitional question, try asking him/her the following close: “Based upon everything you’ve told me, I think that this would be a perfect fit for you.”…and then stop. It virtually always has works for me. Let me know how it works for you. I’ve also transformed this close into a job interview response for friends of mine. Inevitably, at the end of a job interview, the interviewer(s) will say something like, “So, in closing, is there anything that you’d like to ask us that was not brought up in the course of this interview?” In this scenario, you would first thank the interviewers (not for their time, because your time is also valuable) and then say: “Based upon everything you’ve told me, I would be a perfect fit here….when can I get started?”…and then don’t say anything. Your interviewer(s) will probably smile, but you’ve just told them that you’re enthusiastic and ready to get to work right away. I have one friend who tried it and she was hired on the spot. In fact, the interviewer took her directly to HR. I have another friend who tried it and had a message waiting for him at home asking if he could report to work on Monday. Try it and let me know how it works!
