Art is often perceived as something exclusive, reserved for only the elite or highly trained individuals. As an artist I have a different view. Art is for all.

We can all enjoy Art, viewing and creating

We all enjoy art and the beauty of it. Sometimes the beauty lies in the meaning we find in it. Art engages us on a deeper level. It engages both our emotional side that communicates in pictures. And our logical side which is looking for a pattern, for meaning and for a read thread. When making art we engage both sides as our hand tries to capture a picture we need both our creative side and our logical side which assess if we are hitting the mark.

Creating art is not just about having technical proficiency or extensive training.

It's about using one's imagination, emotions, and life experiences to create something that is unique and meaningful. If you can hold a brush you can make a painting. End enjoy the process that is both healing and therapeutic, no matter the outcome.?

Art connects and brings us together

Art has the ability to bring people together. As it connects with our emotions. When viewing art together we can connect to each other by sharing the experience of what we are seeing.

When making art together we see new sides of eachother that we might otherwise not have discovered.

My goal as an Artist

As an artist, my goal is to help individuals engage with art and to encourage them to create their own. I believe that art is for everyone and that it should be inclusive and welcoming to all who are interested. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a beginner, I encourage you to embrace your creativity and make art a part of your life. This can be in any form both enjoying and creating - painting, drawing, music, dance, or anything that inspires you.

Every third thursday of the month I host these events at Groenburgwal 42 in Amsterdam

Entrance fee is 40 euros and it includes Wine, snacks , Paint and all the materials you need to make a painting. #art #painting
