We anticipate a 30% reduction in tyre usage within the first year, achieved through smarter purchasing and extensive driver education. By employing top-tier tyres, we are extending mileage per tyre across our fleet of 130 HGVs and 87 trailers. We have also developed a bespoke MI dashboard in collaboration with DTM, which offers real-time data on breakdowns, vehicle faults, and route issues. This innovative tool allows for predictive analytics, which will play a crucial role in minimising delivery disruptions by addressing potential problems before they lead to vehicle downtime. This proactive approach ensures that our delivery schedules are maintained, thereby significantly boosting the reliability of our services and enhancing customer satisfaction.
