The Airport Impact Radius Agglomeration Economy (AIRAGE), a runway strip-based constellation of businesses and complimenting residential real estate, is essentially a network strategy diversified on time-cost efficiency. AIRAGE placement isn’t about distances, but about how fast they connect and process both from within and externally beyond its confines with other hubs/cities. Unfortunately, even now, all our economic endeavors are a measure of ground length when we should in fact be measuring time rate. In other words, we move not thru matter distance, but thru the 'time-space'.

AIRAGE are aviation powered ‘Speed Economies’ that breed development, integration and advancement encompassing manufacturing, education, Medicare, services industry and others. But that is not how they start.

Tourism moves people, that is settled, everything else follows. Commercial retailers, corporations, business conglomerates, skilled man power, all of them come on the heels of consequent prospects. It must be kept in mind however that AIRAGE are based on Aviation thought and action mindset. Hence they must get tax freedom incentives and package of industry best practices to remain relevant. Somewhere down the expansion, AIRAGE may graduate to becoming an Aerotropolis, further down, an airport city, main difference being that by their concept AIRAGE theorize on bridging time-gaps from within and externally when connecting to demography outside of the hoop, whereas an Airport City or an Aerotropolis may actually not begin on time philosophies.

Time-economy settlements bases on the foundation of a strip runway and a shared strategic vision, commitment, a meaningful mission statement and setting out objectives that must be completed without crashing into a pile of time-line breaches. Understanding AIRAGE is useful to airline business strategists, economists and mobility gurus looking for innovative ways to maximize and integrate their network, and to expand the economic diversity of their nation.
