A new screen arrives !

When we get into a car, what do we do ?

1. Search for the route to our destination on GPS or our mobile or nowadays ask for directions to be sent to our car dash board ?

2. Plugin music or may be play the radio ?

All these and more get integrated in the New Smart Cars. You have a tablet kind of screen in front of the gear lever. This operates on both voice and touch screen. Apart from being a GPS Screen, music player or radio --- it also warns you when your speed limit is beyond what is specified for a particular road. It has all the smart controls to open your garage shutter, is in sync with your smart home etc.

The swipes on the screen are wide bands so that you dont have to take your eyes off the road.

These smart cars have side view mirrors that do not have mechanical movements but instead have output of rear view cameras which you can zoom in and out as per your convenience with zoom controls on the steering.

You can also install Apps of your choice --- be it Search, Restaurants ..... whatever relevant in a car.

Smart cars therefore allow advertisers to personalise their communication as per location and personas.

Some of these smart cars were showcased at the Mobile World Congress and going by the enthusiasm around them --- these will definitely scale up volumes and herald the arrival of one more screen in our lives after Cinema, TV, Mobile & Tablets !
