ARPM Quant Bootcamp and the principle of relativity
We are getting dangerously close to July 8 for another Quant Bootcamp, our yearly intense advanced training at New York University for?
- financial data scientists
- quantitative risk managers and portfolio managers
- students with a quantitative background
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY, MOHAMMED, AND THE MOUNTAIN
As always, we will deliver the Quant Bootcamp at New York University.
However, we recalled our roots in mathematical physics, the principle of relativity, and its beauty, and so we lost track of our train of thoughts… oh yes, relativity: if it is impractical for you to come to New York, we are also coming to you, streaming live.?
And whereas the live experience will be intense, all the code, case studies, theory, slides, data animations, etc, will be available in the ARPM Lab for you for 2 months.
THE WISE...AND US
Now, a word of caution. Are you willing to give up the fresh air, a moment with your dear ones, and more? If you are, we won’t judge you.

Rather, we will use your time to cover relentlessly advanced machine learning, classical/Bayesian multivariate statistics and econometrics, financial analytics, market, credit & liquidity risk management; estimation error and model risk, factor modeling, alpha-beta signals, portfolio construction, optimization; and much, much more…
And to top it off, we will expose you to the research of world-renowned quants Andrew Ang, Jean-Philippe Bouchaud, Bob Litterman, Dilip Madan, Fabio Mercurio, and more.
Despite our best efforts to make the Quant Bootcamp brutal, fun will leak in: with multiple networking events shared with your fellow Bootcampers and prominent figures in the Industry and Academia.
(NO?) MORE!
If you have (wisely) decided not to enroll, please do not read the thousands (!) of raving reviews, or you may end up changing your mind.
But maybe you just couldn’t wait to get your comfortable seat. If so, we will be waiting for you, fearless both you and us, ready to hear you screaming “Enough!†only to hear you scream “More!â€
A presto,

1 年Hi Attilio Meucci, I know your post here is based on an English proverb "If the mountain won’t come to Muhammad then Muhammad must come to the mountain". I would like to point out that there is no such account in Islamic history or any narrations about the Prophet Muhammad on this. Francis Bacon apparently invented this anecdote in order to discredit Islam. I fully understand that your post is not in such spirit however unintentionally your post is sacrilege in nature. I humbly request you to remove the name of our prophet Muhammad from your post since this is offensive towards the Muslims globally. Thank you in advance.
