Q: Hi Deepak! You are the COO at SchbangQ. Can you tell us a little bit about your company?

A: At SchbangQ, we specialize in delivering comprehensive product solutions that cater to businesses looking to scale and optimize through technology. Our core services include Web App Development (SaaS Products),?Mobile App Development, Website Development, and AI Services & Integration.

If I had to summarize in one sentence, I'd say we build custom product solutions that cater to our client's needs. Something that differentiates us is our flexibility and offering of specific solutions based on their unique needs.?

For example, we've built a scanner into the camera of mobile users so that they can measure the environmental impacts of things before they buy them. Users were able to track MEP(Minimum Environment Price) instead of MRP(Maximum Retail Price. MEP is the minimum environment price that shows the decomposition age of a product if left in the environment. It is the price that our environment will pay if we throw it into our environment. We did it so that consumers can make eco-friendly choices. It was a unique solution to our client's business needs.

We emphasize innovation and transparency in every project, ensuring that the final product not only meets the client's goals but also exceeds their expectations in terms of quality and impact. Our focus on a strong company culture drives us to innovate while maintaining high delivery standards.

Q: Exciting! What type of projects are you currently working on?

A: We are mostly developing?Web Apps (SaaS Products), Mobile Apps, Websites, AI Services & Integration, and Sustainability Initiatives.

Q: What are some of the biggest trends you see in your industry today?

A: Everybody wants AI services or wants to do something in this category, though they don't know what can be done. That's where we bring value by understanding their operational, marketing, and business needs. We have delivered such insights and services to a few of our listed clients.

Q: How do you envision AI reshaping the future of industries across India, and what steps is SchbangQ taking to stay ahead?

A: AI is poised to reshape industries across India/the world in transformative ways, driving efficiencies, enhancing decision-making, and creating new business models. Here's a more detailed view, particularly from SchbangQ's perspective:

We have started doing this for various applications in our clients' businesses. SchbangQ also focuses on machine learning models that help with predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and integrations around multiple existing products powered by AI. For example, we all know that your drive can be connected with Slack, but do you always recall which file from your drive folder you should share while having a conversation on Slack? That's AI-powered.
• Research and Development: We are investing in R&D and training our teams in AI tools and platforms, ensuring they stay ahead of the curve. This allows us to incorporate AI into both client-facing solutions and internal process optimizations.

Q: Having transitioned from finance to tech leadership, what's the best advice you've ever received, and how has it shaped your approach?

A: The best advice I've received is to "stay humble, curious and adaptable." This has shaped my approach by encouraging continuous learning and open-mindedness, especially in a dynamic field like tech. Coming from finance, I realized the value of combining analytical precision with creative problem-solving, which is crucial in tech leadership. This advice pushes me to constantly seek new perspectives, whether it's staying on top of emerging trends or fostering innovation within teams.

It has also instilled in me the importance of agility—both in decision-making and in steering teams through rapidly changing technological landscapes. Balancing strategic foresight with adaptability has become a core philosophy in leading Schbang's tech vertical.

Q: What advice would you offer to young professionals entering the IT services and consulting industry today?

A: For young professionals entering the IT services and consulting industry, here's my advice:

• Master the Fundamentals: Focus on building strong technical skills in key areas like software development, data analytics, cloud computing, and security. These will serve as a solid foundation regardless of how technology evolves.
• Embrace Continuous Learning: Technology changes rapidly. Stay curious, take up new courses, and learn emerging technologies like AI services, designs, automation, etc. Adaptability is your biggest asset.
• Develop Problem-Solving Skills: Consulting is about understanding clients' challenges and crafting solutions. Cultivate a mindset that's focused on solving problems holistically and thinking beyond just technical execution.
• Focus on Communication: Strong communication skills are critical in translating complex technical ideas into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. This is key in client-facing roles.
• Build a Network: Start early in establishing connections with peers, mentors, and industry leaders. To do so, help everyone to the best you can, and learn to listen!
• Be Client-Centric: Always understand the client's business objectives. Your technical solutions should align with their goals and add value to their operations, whether it's improving efficiency or driving growth.
• Work on Collaboration: In the IT services industry, you'll often work in cross-functional teams. Learn how to collaborate effectively, as it will help in delivering successful projects and building strong professional relationships.
