Around the Bases 6/30
Hope everyone's summer is off to a good start. I appreciate those who take the time here as ATB heads into its 3rd month of production! I'm open to some producing advice on the layout if anyone has a thought or 2- just DM me on LinkedIn.
I'm gonna start off with a new element to kick things off: The Freebie. The Freebie will just be a general "tip of the week" thought that I have dropped on many in the last, be it at ESPN, or the places I've been since.
This week's Freebie applies to so many things regarding a situation that affects you (job, current events, etc). I have shared this with almost all of my clients up to now-"You're either cool with it, or you are doing something about it". If you're cool with it, great! NO complaining then, since that's the goal in life, no? If not, get something going- the worst activity is inactivity.
Something to Watch come from film director Robert Rodriguez, backing me up a little with some awesome advice for the creatives out there:
Something to Read is a cool short book about the importance of a routine and o it can really help (it did a LOT for me, and you don't have to be a morning person):
Something to Listen to is a podcast from Morning Brew (also looking for producers), good tidbits here for those on the "quest"...
Here's the list of opportunities I came across this week. Just 10 (for those who are new- its always 10, in no particular order) and some look really cool.
This is a list of several positions at different schools, but mostly managing producer. Still counts as one here, though....
Below is a producer position with the Las Vegas Raiders- I have a good connection here...
OK, not a Raiders fan? The Broncos are looking for a Producer too!

Thanks to all who have signed up for and take the time out of your week to read what I'm putting out there. I have some connections at a a few of the above places if you need somewhere to get started. For further media career consultation and advice (freelance producing as well for those in need), check out what I can do for you here:
You can also DM me here on LinkedIn, or email me at [email protected]. We can set up a free consultation call to get things rolling. Any energy you put into your career path will be paid back to you and then some. My expertise within the industry and contact list should be able to get you off on the right foot. Again, thanks for your time here, it means so much. Working on some video ideas for the above information- so stay tuned. See you next week!
