Around the Bases 5/4

Welcome back for another week! The community keeps growing here and all of you are playing a huge part in the production of the newsletter. Your feedback has been huge in what I am looking for content wise to share each week.

"Patiently impatient" is something I have said to a few clients of mine when discussing their path to whatever lies ahead. Knowing who you are and what you really want to do isn't the easiest thing to do, but it can be a little easier if you tap into this concept. You want to be in a hurry to achieve something, but you have to balance that with the necessary steps that are needed and the time it takes to get there. The impatience will push you to have some urgency to get you moving, but you have to understand that it doesn't take 5 minutes- the video below will help flesh this out.

This week's Something to Watch is a helpful video that I came across a while ago. Debbie Millman is a great go-to person I often seek out content from when I am stuck a little bit (like this week!). There should be something in here that can help you.

This week's Something to Read is a unique look at getting yourself moving in the right direction. I got some decent vibes from last week's selection, and this is in the same vein. Catchy title, catchier content inside.

This week's Something to Listen To is a great episode from Michelle Obama's "The Light" podcast. David Letterman is her guest here with some awesome advice.

Here are this week's Top 10 roles I saw in our industry. The first 5 are with our team at CBS.
