Around the Bases 11/15

Around the Bases 11/15

Welcome back! Needed the extra day here to put this together, plus it seemed fitting this drops at the halfway point of November. Thanks as always for your time here each week, your support really helps me as I put this together.

The push and pull of what you are comfortable with and the unknown possibilities of the future is always in play regardless of what your field is. I have said to so many "You know what this is" with "this" being whatever your current situation happens to be. But what you don't know has driven me more often than not to explore whatever that unknown is. This newsletter is a prime example. I wasn't sure at first what it could be, but after getting some advice along the way from some awesome people, it was full steam ahead and here we are. I can't imagine not starting this and it has become a very fulfilling part of my life. The lesson? Educate yourself as much as possible about your next step, then take it and see where it goes- the rewards may pay off in ways you never knew.

A good one here for this week's Something to Watch. Dr. Brian Little is a psychologist who provides a unique inward look at...yourself. Great stuff here.

Who are you, really?

This week's Something to Read hit a chord with me as I have occasionally battled myself on a few things in my life. This book from Darius Foroux may help any of us out there who need a little advice on how to beat back the negative thoughts that pop up and hold us back.

Win Your Inner Battles

This week's Something to Listen To fits right in. Lori Harder and the team at Earn Your Happy has lots of great content to share, and this episode is a great place to start.

Earn Your Happy- Overcome Trauma, Share Your Story and Take Bold Risks

As I mentioned above, taking the steps to something new may require some help. I got plenty from so many as I ventured out into my unknown a few years back and don't know where I'd be without there assistance. If you find yourself on a roadmap you aren't familiar with, we should talk. Whether you are looking for something new or wondering how to take the next steps at the place you are currently working, I can help. I have the industry knowledge that I have passed on to more than my share of people, the passion and energy level needed to collaborate on whatever your needs are. Resume reboots, content reel reviews, and sage advice about how to find your way into and through the sports media landscape. All it takes is a visit to my website below to see how we can help each other. Please feel free to DM me here or email me at [email protected] to find out more. The consultation call is free.

That's it for another week, before we roll, a quick shout out to those on our team here who are starting something new (you know who you are!). A new trail to blaze can be a lot to take on, but for me, the excitement of the process has helped me with each new step I took in my journey. Have a great weekend!
