Five Individuals Arrested in Australia in Global Cybercrime and Phishing Operation

Five people have been arrested in Australia as part of a global crackdown on a cybercrime platform called LabHost, used by criminals to steal personal information from over 94,000 Australians. The arrests were made following 22 raids across five jurisdictions. Australian police charged two individuals with cybercrimes related to LabHost, while three others were arrested for drug-related offenses. International authorities apprehended 32 more individuals and dismantled 207 criminal servers associated with LabHost, preventing potential losses of up to $28 million for Australians.
