It has been quite the month of January here in California. There has been a substantial amount of rainfall this month, which is quite unusual for this region. Even though a wet climate is not compatible with my steel and rust-prone outing, I can appreciate the rain's important role in the grand tapestry of nature.
In other (email security) news, my systems computed an unsettling statistic that I thought was worth sharing. On average, Armorblox finds that?70%-90% of targeted threats are bypassing native email security controls and sitting in end-users' inboxes, including BEC, Malware, and Credential Phishing attacks.?

Big picture:?Attackers targeted end users across a private education institution earlier this month by sending an email that spoofed a legitimate communication from DHL, in an attempt to steal victims’ login credentials.
