‘ARMENIAN GENOCIDE’ RECOGNITION: EVIDENCE OF ISLAMOPHOBIA

In light of the rekindling of the 1915’s ‘Armenian Genocide’ issue into the spotlight, there is a pressing need for the objective assessment of its historical account and the motive as to why it is now gaining traction. This event occurred during the siege of the Umayyad Caliphate from all sides by the enemies of Islam, reminiscent of the Battle of Ahzab that happened in the time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. This is as narrated through the words of Allah SWT:

“When they came upon you from above you and from below you, when your eyes were stupefied with horror and your hearts leapt to your throats, and you began to entertain diverse thoughts about Allah. (10); The believers were then put to a severe test and were most violently convulsed. (11); And call to mind when the hypocrites and all those with diseased hearts said: ‘All that Allah and His Messenger had promised us was nothing but deceit.’ (12).” (Surah al-Ahzab: 10-12)

The enemies of Islam, consisting of Western and Eastern Christians as well as the Jews who were previously rescued from the tyranny of the Christians and the hypocrites, savagely laid a siege to the heart of the Ottoman government. As for some of the inhabitants of the Muslims’ homeland, whose faith was weakened, they had fell victim to the manipulation of the enemies.

This is hardly surprising considering that the Ottoman Caliphate used to play an active role in protecting the Muslims and their territories around the world from being picked off one after another. As it turned out, it also happened during the escalation of extreme hostility towards Islam and the heightening ambition of the West to destroy it.

Not a single acknowledgment was given by Western powers to the Islamic civilization for the tremendous contribution towards their advancement in all fields of knowledge thus far, especially in the field of science and technology. In the past, they were engulfed in darkness. Clashes were culminating between religious figures who were ignorant in science and politics. However, their envy towards the speed and development of the Islamic civilization had compelled them to unite against Islam.

The wealth of knowledge, among them the studies of previous Islamic scholars, were learned or stolen by the West and stored in some of those countries which serve as irrefutable proofs of the Islamic contribution. However, these services and contributions that successfully removed them from the pit of ignorance had largely gone unacknowledged.

The enemies had taken advantage of the Muslims’ decline during the Ottoman era to launch immoral imperial and colonial campaigns as well as disseminating fanatical teachings of Christianity without associating them with political affairs. For the sole reason that it was Islam’s final line of defence, toppling the Ottoman government, thus, became their primary goal.

Among the Armenian ethnics, some of them were willing to be a tool to fight against the Ottomans while some others were willing to remain under the Islamic government of the Ottomans because they were given an opportunity to coexist and there was no threat of ethnic cleansing. This is why some of the Armenians also openly opposed the unfair statement.

The Muslims in Turkey, particularly in Azerbaijan, had fallen victim to the group of traitors who remained in the area after the fall of the Ottomans. From the time the United States successfully conquered the neighbouring country until now, the Muslim populations were continuously expelled from their homeland due to their Islamic faith which constituted an offense in the country. Even though the Azerbaijanis won the war, they failed to gain sympathy from Western countries that clearly sided with Armenia.

They should have realized that under Western colonialism, which imposed a slavery system against the colonized natives, their fate would be much worse than it is today. On top of that, many lives were lost, resources were robbed and foreign intervention lingered on even as the colony gained independence.

The establishment of their countries, or the United States, in particular, happened in a completely barbaric fashion, in which the original settlers (i.e., American Indians) were massacred like preys for hunting. They were then left destitute in their own homeland.

The colonized natives who were mostly from Africa were transported, sold in the slave market, and then forced into labour to open new uncharted land for the country that the colonizers were going to build. Over time, the country has now become a superpower, yet to this day, the natives are still deprived of basic human rights and justice which are merely lip service on their part.

Even with the record of these tragedies stored in the dark recesses of their history, their ceaseless greed is still on display, as evidenced by the creation of weapons of mass destruction – weapons that had claimed millions of human lives in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, followed by the Korean War, the Vietnam War, as well as wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The series of wars that took place were aimed at covering the atrocities perpetrated by Israel and their other allies, supposedly in the name of freedom and democracy. They became more arrogant with every passing day to the extent they thought they were the most powerful country which can bend the world according to their will.

The Islamic revivals that took place in several countries such as Turkey, Iran, and other countries are viewed negatively for being Islamic-oriented. However, if the non-Islamic revival is allowed to happen, be prepared to become one of their pawns.

In the past, the enemies of Islam had no qualms about accepting Iran and Turkey whose secular nature constantly clashed against Islam to the extent of being able to assassinate scholars and leaders who sought to uphold Islam in cold blood. Therefore, it is evident that America will not welcome any attempt to return to Islam.

Thus, the statement made by American leaders on the issue is just an instance of the depth of their Islamophobic agenda that clouded their vision of Islam. A phobia that has eliminated any semblance of control and is void of common sense and real knowledge.
