Welcoming Tom Schmit to Armada
To build on this momentum, Armada is excited to welcome Tom Schmit as President of Worldwide Field Operations, bringing world-class go-to-market expertise to fuel Armada’s next stage of growth.
Tom is a proven technology executive with deep expertise in scaling enterprise sales teams and driving high-impact go-to-market growth strategies. Most recently, he was Chief Revenue Officer at AuditBoard, where he grew annual recurring revenue from $50 million to over $250 million in four years, leading to a $3 billion+ acquisition by Hg Capital.
Before AuditBoard, Tom spent seven years at AppDynamics, playing a pivotal role in scaling the company from $50 million to over $500 million in ARR, serving in multiple senior leadership roles, including Chief Revenue Officer, where he led a global team of over 1,000 people. AppDynamics was acquired by Cisco for $3.7 billion during Tom’s tenure.
His experience spans BMC, BladeLogic, and Cisco, where he built and executed enterprise platform sales and go-to-market strategies, including strategic partnerships, that fueled industry-leading growth. Now, he’s bringing that expertise to Armada as it continues to push the boundaries of real-world AI at the edge on its mission to bridge the digital divide.
