3. ?? Advocating for the Future of the Logistics Industry!
ARL Network is proud to once again sponsor the annual TIA 3PL Policy Forum in Washington, D.C., where our leadership team—led by VP of Operations Jordan Reber and President Ron Faherty—joined colleagues from around the country to make our voices heard in front of Congress. This year’s forum focused on key issues shaping the future of the logistics industry, including Independent Contractor Status, Supply Chain Fraud, and Rate Intrusion.
We’re excited to announce that Team Pennsylvania secured co-sponsors for HR 8505, a bill aimed at empowering the FMCSA to fine bad actors up to $10,000 for unauthorized freight rebrokering. This bill would also allow the deactivation of MC numbers tied to PO Boxes used as physical addresses. Additionally, we helped raise awareness about the negative impact of the PRO Act, which threatens the rights of independent contractors in the trucking industry.
At ARL, we remain steadfast in supporting motor carriers and independent contractors, advocating for the preservation of their rights and the future of our industry.
