The Aristocrats Trying to Kill the Constitution Pipeline

The Constitution Pipeline is still awaiting a final administrative approval from New York State and the NRDC gang of ruling class aristocrats is piling on.

A faithful reader who’s on the Catskill Mountainkeeper mailing list sends me their action alerts and yesterday’s was a frantic piece of hyperbole urging its supporters to man the phones to make a last ditch effort to stop the Constitution Pipeline. Pipelines are the new focus of fractivists everywhere and, of course, the Mountainkeeper, which is an off-shoot of the NRDC gang of Rockefeller toadies is in the thick of it, doing everything they can to keep shale gas development and economic opportunity as far away from the Catskills, where they practice their lands scams and are busy building another wilderness, as possible. It’s time ordinary citizens fought back against this empire.

Here’s the e-mail piece and it speaks to itself as an example of the sort of demagoguery used by these people. The headline tells us everything, doesn’t it? New York is using more in the way of fossil fuels today than yesterday, as we recently pointed out and that’s not likely to change. The NRDC gang of aristocrats who have second homes in the corner of the Catskills where Delaware, Sullivan and Ulster Counties come together are assembling ever more parkland around themselves, running a land scam that works off the backs of New York State taxpayers to pay for it.
