In the Secretary of Energy, Cammesa (company of the wholesale electricity market) and 4 companies signed 8 contracts awarded in round 3 of the RenovAr Program for 11 MW. There are 3 biogas projects for 5.5 MW, 4 mini hydroelectric plants for 3.5 mW and a 2 MW photovoltaic solar park. For every mwh generated by hydroelectric plants, companies will receive us$ 104.5 for 20 years (deadline set for all awarded ventures). With respect to the biogas contracts, which will be located in the province of San Luis, the companies will receive us$ 156.5 per mWh generated.
For its part, the Gorina meat processing plant signed the contract for its 1.5 MW project. The venture will generate energy with waste from the company's own activity in Buenos Aires for each generated mwh will receive the sum of us$ 152.5. The Adecoagro company signed the agreement for its 2 MW project, will receive us$ 60 per Mwh and the plant will be located in the province of Santa Fe.
On November 12, the Provincial Energy Company of Córdoba (Epec) concluded its contract for a 3MW La Calera hydroelectric power plant; and, for its part, the Secco company started its biogas project from 5 MW sanitary landfills. In the renewable energy sector, they consider that these projects, because they are smaller, will have no risk with financing.
