Arena Review #51 - Rose Hill Gymnasium - The Bronx, NY
The Rose Hill Gymnasium is the Rams home court for Men's and Women's basketball and is located in The Bronx, NY. The venue seats 3,200 and opened in 1925. The Rose Hill Gymnasium has been the site of many legendary college and high school basketball games, including the final high school game of Lew Alcindor, later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Rose Hill Gymnasium is a great small venue to take in a Division 1 Basketball game. The crowd was ecstatic Saturday afternoon as the Fordham Rams hosted the George Mason Patriots in an Atlantic 10 game. The Rams and the Patriots traded baskets for the majority of the game and the Patriots ended up pulling away late and winning by the final score of 65-61. The Rams were led by Erten Gazi's 22 points while the Patriots' Javon Greene had 19 points.
I would highly recommend visiting the Rose Hill Gymnasium if you are ever in The Bronx, NY and are looking to take in a high quality Division 1 basketball game as the Rose Hill Gymnasium is a great venue. Every seat in the Rose Hill Gymnasium has you up close to the action on the court and there isn’t a bad seat to be had. I will give the Rose Hill Gymnasium 4.5 out of 5 stars as the small venue was electric and the fans were very passionate and engaged as well. I am looking forward to visiting several arenas in Pennsylvania next weekend. Until then.

5 年Old school! Although I've covered a couple of college games there, the best times were when the Rumble in the Bronx would have that as the main site. It was always the best travel team tournament in the month of June and you got all the best teams and late-round games in one great location.
