Arena Review #39 - David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex - Hempstead, NY

The David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is the Pride's Home Arena for Men's Basketball and is located in Hempstead, NY. The venue seats 5,023 and opened in 2000. Replacing the Hofstra Physical Fitness Center , the arena opened on January 2, 2000, as Hofstra Arena and was renamed for Mack in 2006. The David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is a great medium-sized venue to take in a Division 1 College Basketball game. The crowd was ecstatic last night as the Hofstra Pride played the Towson Tigers in a CAA Conference Game. The two teams traded baskets the majority of the game until Hofstra pulled away in the latter part of the 2nd Half to win by the final score of 59-56. The Pride's Tyler Thomas had 23 points and 9 assists while the Tigers' Nendah Tarke had 12 points and 5 rebounds in the defeat.

I would highly recommend visiting the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex if you are ever in Hempstead, New York and are looking to take in a high quality Division 1 Basketball game as the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is a great venue. Every seat at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex has you up close to the action on the court and there isn't a bad seat to be had. I will give the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex 5 out of 5 stars as the medium-sized venue was electric and the fans were very passionate and engaged as well. I am looking forward to visiting several other Arenas in New York next weekend. Until then.
